Opening for Dave Graney ‘n’ the Coral Snakes

Both Dave Graney and his co-conspirator Clare Moore have long been songwriting and performing heroes of mine. They’ve been a big influence on how I do things.

I’ll be opening this reunion show for their 90’s group The Coral Snakes at Freo.Social on October 24.

They’ll be playing their seminal LP The Soft ‘n’ Sexy Sound. It’s an album that ended up being about 3/4 of my personality when I was at uni, so it’s a real delight to have been asked.

Dave and Clare had been following my misadventures around Victoria and NSW on the busking tour I did in May, and I’m the only opening act they’ve booked for across this entire national tour. So that’s a nice warm fuzzy feeling.

They’ll put on a helluva show, and I’ll put on a helluva show, so if you’re within about 300km of Perth, this is one to come check out.
